Meaning & Commentary

In this profound moment, Arjuna recognizes Shri Krishna not merely as his friend, but as the Absolute Truth from whom all existence emanates. By addressing Shri Krishna as the Supreme Brahman, Arjuna confirms that the divine form standing on the battlefield of Kurukshetra is the source of all consciousness and matter. This revelation invites every seeker to shift their perspective from the temporary material world to the eternal reality of Shri Krishna. By contemplating these qualities, the devotee cleanses the heart and aligns the soul with its true nature. Ultimately, this realization marks the beginning of true devotion, where the soul seeks refuge in the lotus feet of the Lord to attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
