Meaning & Commentary

In this profound moment, Arjuna acknowledges the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shri Krishna, accepting His words as the ultimate reality. This verse captures the surrender of the soul, recognizing that the human intellect is insufficient to grasp the infinite, transcendental nature of the Lord. Shri Krishna reveals that He is beyond the dualities of the material world, existing prior to the creation of both celestial beings and demonic entities. For a sincere devotee, this realization is the key to liberation, as it shifts the focus from ego-driven knowledge to humble devotion. By accepting Shri Krishna’s authority, the seeker transcends the limited perception of the material mind and enters the realm of divine grace.
