Meaning & Commentary
In this profound declaration, Shri Krishna reveals Himself as the ultimate essence behind all manifest existence. By identifying Himself with the Sama-Veda, Indra, the mind, and consciousness, Shri Krishna shows Arjuna that every exalted quality in the universe is but a flicker of His infinite light. He invites the seeker to look beyond the external forms and perceive His divine presence hidden in every aspect of life. By recognizing the Supreme Lord as the source of our very intelligence and senses, a devotee gradually detaches from the ego and attains liberation. Through this constant remembrance, one realizes that Shri Krishna is the heartbeat of all creation, leading the soul back to His eternal abode.
