Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Shri Krishna reveals the ultimate ontological truth: that His appearance in human form is a divine manifestation, not a birth dictated by karma. By recognizing Shri Krishna as the source of all existence—the unborn and beginningless Supreme Being—a seeker pierces through the veil of 'maya' or illusion. This realization is not mere intellectual assent but a profound awakening that dissolves the accumulated impressions of past actions. When the soul perceives the Lordship of Shri Krishna over all dimensions, the heart is purified of all delusions, leading to the state of eternal liberation. Thus, Shri Krishna invites every soul to shift their perception from the finite world to His infinite, eternal presence.
