Meaning & Commentary

In this verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals His omnipresence, declaring that He is the substratum upon which the entire cycle of creation, sustenance, and dissolution rests. By identifying Himself as the 'science of the Self,' Shri Krishna emphasizes that true knowledge is not worldly, but the experiential realization of the soul’s eternal nature. When He declares Himself to be the 'logic of the controversialists,' He means He is the essence of truthful argument that leads to clarity rather than ego-driven strife. For a seeker, this realization transforms every intellectual pursuit into a form of worship, centering the mind on the Divine. Ultimately, Shri Krishna invites us to see Him in every aspect of existence, guiding us toward liberation by dissolving our identification with the material and anchoring it in His eternal reality.
