Meaning & Commentary
In this profound moment of the Vishwaroop Darshan, Arjuna witnesses Lord Krishna as the inexorable Time (Kala), who consumes all existence. This revelation humbles the seeker, demonstrating that every created being is ultimately absorbed back into the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna. By understanding that birth and death are but moments in His eternal play, the devotee learns to transcend worldly attachments. This realization liberates the soul from the fear of annihilation, shifting focus toward eternal devotion at the lotus feet of the Supreme. Ultimately, Arjuna learns that surrendered action in alignment with Lord Krishna's divine will is the only path to true liberation.
