Meaning & Commentary
In this profound moment, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals that the terrifying manifestation of His Vishwarupa—the cosmic form of time and destruction—is merely one aspect of His infinite nature. He consoles Arjuna, reminding the seeker that despite the overwhelming nature of the Divine truth, one must find equanimity and joy in His presence. Shri Krishna invites the soul to transcend the shock of universal reality to find comfort in His personal, loving form. This transition signifies that while the Supreme Lord governs all creation and dissolution, He eternally yearns for a loving, intimate relationship with His devotees. By calming Arjuna, Shri Krishna teaches humanity that liberation (moksha) is found not just in awe, but in the surrendered heart that beholds the Divine with love.
