Meaning & Commentary

In this profound verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals the ultimate essence of the path of Bhakti Yoga, which serves as the direct gateway to His divine abode. By dedicating every action as an offering to Shri Krishna, the seeker transcends the bondage of karma, transforming mundane labor into sacred worship. Shri Krishna emphasizes that true devotion requires a heart cleansed of attachment and the ego-driven desire for worldly results. When a devotee views every soul as a manifestation of the Lord, enmity naturally dissolves, replaced by universal compassion. Ultimately, Shri Krishna promises that the soul who centers its entire existence upon Him attains liberation and eternal union with His supreme consciousness.
