Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna delineates the supreme qualities of a perfected devotee who has transcended the dualities of material existence. By remaining equipoised amidst the turbulence of the world, the seeker mirrors the eternal tranquility of the Supreme Lord. Shri Krishna emphasizes that when one relinquishes the impulses of ego—such as fear, anger, and worldly excitement—the soul becomes a transparent vessel for divine grace. Such a soul is not merely a follower but is perpetually embraced in the affection of the Lord, attaining liberation from the cycle of birth and death. To walk this path is to live in complete surrender to Shri Krishna, finding refuge in His unchangeable, blissful essence.
