Meaning & Commentary
In this profound verse, Lord Krishna reveals His omnipresence by declaring Himself as the eternal Witness residing within every living entity. While the 'field' represents the physical body and its material nature, the 'Knower of the field' is the Supreme Spirit who perceives all things. Yogeshwar Krishna invites the seeker to look beyond the transient material body and realize the divinity residing within. True knowledge is not merely intellectual accumulation but the realization of this intimate union between the individual soul and the Supreme Knower. By recognizing Shri Krishna in all, the devotee transcends duality and attains the path to liberation.
