Meaning & Commentary
In this profound verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals His transcendental nature, distinguishing Himself from the perishable and imperishable aspects of the material creation. He declares that He is the Paramatma, the Supreme Soul, who remains beyond the reach of cyclic time and change while simultaneously animating all existence. By entering the three worlds, Shri Krishna acts as the eternal maintainer, proving that everything is sustained by His divine energy alone. For the devotee, this truth serves as a gateway to liberation, as realizing Shri Krishna as the ultimate support of all beings allows one to transcend the illusion of material identity. Thus, the seeker shifts their focus from the transient world to the eternal, all-pervading presence of Shri Krishna.
