Meaning & Commentary
This verse transcends the battlefield, teaching that every individual has a unique 'Svadharma' or soul-duty that aligns with cosmic order. When we face moral hesitation or fear, Krishna urges us to embrace our responsibilities with courage rather than seeking an escape. It reveals that performing one's rightful duty, even when it is difficult or emotionally taxing, is the highest form of spiritual discipline. By acting in accordance with truth and justice, we align our personal will with the Divine, thereby transforming worldly action into a path of liberation.
