एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति। स्थित्वाऽस्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति
Transliteration
eṣhā brāhmī sthitiḥ pārtha naināṁ prāpya vimuhyati sthitvāsyām anta-kāle ’pi brahma-nirvāṇam ṛichchhati

Translation
O son of Pritha, this is the state of the God-realized soul, attaining which one is no longer deluded. Being established in this state even at the hour of death, one attains oneness with the Supreme Brahman.
Meaning & Commentary
This verse reveals that spiritual enlightenment is not a distant destination but a present state of consciousness, often called 'Brahmi-sthiti'. It teaches that when the mind is fully anchored in the Truth, the illusions of duality and ego simply dissolve, preventing the confusion that typically clouds human judgment. This transformation is independent of time; it suggests that even a final awakening at the end of life can lead to liberation, highlighting the infinite grace of the divine. Ultimately, it emphasizes that the goal of human life is the dissolution of individual identity into the universal consciousness, achieving an eternal peace that transcends the cycle of birth and death.
