Meaning & Commentary

This verse shifts the focus of spiritual practice from outer ritual to inner awareness. While material offerings can please the senses or fulfill worldly desires, true spiritual growth occurs only when action is transformed into an offering of understanding. By viewing all life experiences as a process of learning, the practitioner eventually realizes the non-dual nature of existence. Ultimately, the restlessness of karma is stilled not by stopping action, but by realizing the truth that underlies every movement, leading to a state of profound peace.
