Meaning & Commentary
This verse defines the pinnacle of spiritual maturity as the state of inner detachment. It teaches that true Yoga is not merely a physical practice, but a psychological liberation from the compulsive need to seek fulfillment in external outcomes. By renouncing the 'fruits' of action, the practitioner transcends the ego’s constant craving and anxiety. This internal shift allows one to act with perfect clarity and equanimity, grounded in the Self rather than the fluctuating demands of the material world.
