Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Lord Krishna reveals Himself as the primordial source and the very essence of existence. By identifying as the 'eternal seed,' Lord Krishna explains that all life originates from Him, making the entire cosmos a manifestation of His being. When we witness brilliance, wisdom, or excellence in the world, Lord Krishna teaches us to recognize these not as separate achievements, but as reflections of His own divine energy. This perspective transforms our ego, shifting our focus from pride in our own abilities to humble gratitude toward Lord Krishna. Ultimately, seeing Lord Krishna in every spark of intelligence allows a devotee to live with constant awareness of His presence in all things.
