Meaning & Commentary
In this profound verse, Shri Krishna reveals the ultimate promise of unconditional love and protection to His devotees. By promising to bring what they lack (yoga) and preserve what they possess (kshema), Lord Krishna assures the seeker that the burden of worldly sustenance is lifted when one surrenders completely to Him. This is not merely an external provision but a divine transformation where the Lord becomes the sole caretaker of the devotee’s life. Through this intimate union, Shri Krishna removes the anxiety of survival, allowing the devotee to focus entirely on the path of liberation. Thus, the seeker transitions from self-reliance to absolute dependence on the Supreme Divine, finding eternal peace in His grace.
