न च मां तानि कर्माणि निबध्नन्ति धनञ्जय। उदासीनवदासीनमसक्तं तेषु कर्मसु
Transliteration
na cha māṁ tāni karmāṇi nibadhnanti dhanañjaya udāsīna-vad āsīnam asaktaṁ teṣhu karmasu

Translation
O Arjuna, these actions do not bind Me, for I remain like one indifferent, unattached to those actions.
Meaning & Commentary
Shri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, reveals the mystery of His divine nature: while He initiates the cosmic manifestation, He remains completely aloof and untouched by the results of His creation. By identifying Himself as the witness who is eternally established in His own glory, Lord Krishna teaches that true liberation lies in performing one's duty without the desire for fruits. When a devotee mirrors this divine state—acting without ego-attachment—they transcend the shackles of karma. This lesson serves as an invitation to all seekers to align their consciousness with the Supreme, moving beyond the dualities of worldly life. Through this detachment, the soul realizes its eternal nature, eventually attaining the lotus feet of Yogeshwar Krishna.
