Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Arjuna recognizes Shri Krishna not merely as his friend, but as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the source of all existence. By asking Shri Krishna to recount His glories, Arjuna seeks to internalize the vastness of the Divine, shifting his focus from the chaos of the battlefield to the infinite majesty of the Lord. For every seeker, this request serves as a gateway to meditation, as reflecting upon the Lord's omnipresence allows one to transcend the material illusion of separation. When the devotee acknowledges that Shri Krishna sustains every atom of creation, the heart begins to surrender, paving the way for true liberation. This dialogue invites humanity to witness the world not as a collection of objects, but as a manifestation of the eternal, divine play of Shri Krishna.
