Meaning & Commentary

In this verse, Arjuna expresses the insatiable thirst of a devotee who has caught a glimpse of the Infinite. By asking Shri Krishna to elaborate on His divine manifestations, Arjuna teaches us that the heart never tires of the Lord’s sweetness. Shri Krishna is the source of all existence, and by meditating on His divine glories, a seeker begins to perceive the Divine presence in every aspect of creation. This recognition is the gateway to liberation, as it shifts the consciousness from the material illusion to the eternal reality of the Supreme Person. Ultimately, constant remembrance of Shri Krishna’s nectar-like teachings purifies the mind and awakens the dormant soul to its true relationship with the Almighty.
