Meaning & Commentary

In this profound verse, Shri Krishna reveals the hallmark of a true devotee, known as 'mad-gata-prana.' He describes a state of divine communion where the seeker finds their sole refuge in the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shri Krishna. By engaging in 'bodhayantah parasparam,' or mutual spiritual discourse, these devotees nourish each other’s devotion and deepen their realization of His infinite attributes. This process transforms mundane existence into a constant celebration of the Lord's presence, leading to supreme contentment and spiritual ecstasy. Ultimately, Shri Krishna invites all souls to abandon material anxieties and find their eternal rest and joy within Him.
