Meaning & Commentary

In this profound moment, Bhagwan Shri Krishna unveils His Vishwarupa—the Universal Form—to Arjuna, shattering the illusion of His limited human appearance. This revelation demonstrates that Shri Krishna is the singular source of all existence, encompassing both the creator and the entire creation within His infinite being. For the seeker, this signifies that every atom and every event is contained within the Divine, urging one to surrender the limited ego to the Supreme Lord. By witnessing this, Arjuna is initiated into the truth that true liberation, or moksha, is attained not by worldly action, but by realizing the omnipresence of the Lord. Shri Krishna thus invites every soul to recognize His glory in all aspects of life, shifting focus from the temporary to the eternal.
