Meaning & Commentary

In this profound moment, Arjuna witnesses the Vishwarupa, the Universal Form of Bhagwan Shri Krishna, which encompasses the totality of existence. This revelation shatters the illusion of separation, showing that every entity, from the creator Brahma to the celestial serpents, is held within the infinite Being of Shri Krishna. By manifesting this cosmic form, Lord Krishna invites the seeker to realize that the Supreme Divine is not distant, but is the very ground of all reality. For the devotee, this vision confirms that liberation (moksha) is achieved by surrendering to the One who sustains every atom of the cosmos. Arjuna’s awe signifies the soul's awakening to its eternal connection with Shri Krishna, the source and refuge of all creation.
