Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Arjuna acknowledges the profound wisdom bestowed upon him by Shri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Having heard the secret of cosmic creation and dissolution, Arjuna recognizes that Shri Krishna is not merely a charioteer but the eternal source of all existence. By addressing Him as 'lotus-eyed,' Arjuna expresses his deep devotion and surrender to the Lord’s divine beauty and grace. This realization marks a pivotal transition for the seeker, shifting from intellectual understanding to a state of reverent awe before the Infinite. True spiritual liberation begins when the soul awakens to the majesty of Shri Krishna, accepting Him as the origin and ultimate destination of all that is.
