यथा प्रकाशयत्येकः कृत्स्नं लोकमिमं रविः।क्षेत्रं क्षेत्री तथा कृत्स्नं प्रकाशयति भारत
Transliteration
yathā prakāśhayaty ekaḥ kṛitsnaṁ lokam imaṁ raviḥ kṣhetraṁ kṣhetrī tathā kṛitsnaṁ prakāśhayati bhārata

Translation
Just as the one sun illuminates the entire world, so too does the Lord of the field, the Supreme Self, illuminate the entire field of the body, O Arjuna.
Meaning & Commentary
In this profound revelation, Bhagwan Shri Krishna clarifies the nature of the indwelling soul as the singular source of consciousness within the material body. Just as the sun remains unaffected by the objects it illuminates, the Supreme Self remains distinct from the temporary field of the material world. Shri Krishna teaches that when a seeker recognizes this internal light, they transcend identification with the body and mind. This realization is the key to liberation, as it allows one to perceive the eternal presence of the Divine within every living being. Through this grace, the soul is freed from the darkness of ignorance and anchored in the radiant, eternal truth of Shri Krishna.
