Meaning & Commentary

In this profound revelation on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Bhagwan Shri Krishna exposes the internal darkness of those who turn away from the divine order (Dharma). By rejecting the Vedic injunctions of what to embrace and what to renounce, the demoniac soul severs its connection to the Supreme. Shri Krishna explains that without purity of heart, integrity in action, and adherence to truth, the individual remains trapped in the cycle of samsara. True spiritual liberation begins when the devotee aligns their will with the Supreme Will of Shri Krishna, transcending animalistic impulses through sacred discipline. Only by seeking refuge in the lotus feet of the Lord can a soul purify its nature and realize its eternal relationship with the Divine.
