Meaning & Commentary

In this profound verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals the transformative power of the word 'Sat' to guide the soul toward the Supreme Truth. By using this sacred term to describe reality and goodness, Shri Krishna teaches the seeker that all actions should be rooted in the essence of the eternal Brahman. When a devotee performs auspicious deeds with the consciousness of 'Sat', every action becomes an offering, purifying the heart and aligning the individual with the Divine will. Shri Krishna emphasizes that by invoking this reality, one transcends the illusion of material existence and moves closer to liberation. Thus, the seeker learns to harmonize their earthly existence with the eternal nature of the Supreme Lord.
