Meaning & Commentary
In this profound instruction, Lord Krishna reveals the nature of the lowest mode of existence, Tamas. When a devotee acts out of sheer ignorance or confusion, disregarding the spiritual impact on others or the potential for self-destruction, they fall into the darkness of delusion. Bhagwan Shri Krishna warns Arjuna that such actions are devoid of divine intelligence and lead the soul further away from the path of liberation. By shedding this clouded consciousness, the seeker must align their intent with the wisdom of the Supreme. True devotion requires the clarity to discern actions that harmonize with the will of Yogeshwar Krishna, ultimately liberating the soul from the cycle of material bondage.
