Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna declares that the study of the Bhagavad Gita is not merely an intellectual exercise but a supreme act of devotion, termed 'Jnana-yajna' or the sacrifice of wisdom. By engaging with the divine words spoken to Arjuna, the seeker offers their ego and ignorance into the fire of transcendental knowledge, thereby worshiping the Supreme Lord directly. Shri Krishna validates this act as the highest form of adoration, promising that the study of His teachings bridges the gap between the finite soul and the Infinite. This sacred dialogue serves as a direct path to liberation, transforming the reader into a devotee who continuously communes with the Divine through the contemplation of His eternal truth.
