Meaning & Commentary

Bhagwan Shri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, here reveals the immense potency of hearing His divine discourse. He promises that even the simple act of listening to this sacred wisdom with a heart devoid of envy and filled with unwavering faith bestows the highest blessings. By shedding the limitations of a conditioned soul, the listener transcends the cycle of mundane existence and ascends to the eternal abodes reserved for the righteous. This assurance from Yogeshwar Krishna underscores that the Gita is not merely a text, but a living bridge connecting the finite seeker to the infinite grace of the Divine. Ultimately, this path purifies the seeker, guiding them toward the liberation and everlasting peace that only the Supreme Lord can grant.
