Meaning & Commentary

This verse teaches that true wisdom is not an intellectual achievement but a state of disciplined consciousness born from self-mastery. By withdrawing the senses from the turbulent pull of external distractions, one creates an inner sanctuary where the mind can rest in the Divine. This spiritual alignment transforms our scattered energy into a focused, tranquil awareness that remains unshaken by life's dualities. Ultimately, it reveals that a stable intellect is the byproduct of surrendering the ego to the higher self, allowing one to navigate existence with profound equanimity and clarity.
