Meaning & Commentary

In this profound verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals to Arjuna the universality of His own being, explaining that all sincere paths of worship eventually reach Him. Whether a devotee perceives Shri Krishna as the singular absolute Brahman, as an individual deity, or as the infinite manifestations of the cosmic universe, the underlying truth remains the same. By engaging in the 'wisdom-sacrifice' (jnana-yajna), the seeker transcends limited perceptions and recognizes that Shri Krishna is the source and sustenance of all existence. This realization transforms the devotee's vision, leading them to see the Supreme Lord in every atom and every heart. Ultimately, this path dissolves the veil of ignorance, guiding the soul toward eternal liberation and direct union with Yogeshwar Krishna.
