समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रियः। ये भजन्ति तु मां भक्त्या मयि ते तेषु चाप्यहम्

samo ’haṁ sarva-bhūteṣhu na me dveṣhyo ’sti na priyaḥ ye bhajanti tu māṁ bhaktyā mayi te teṣhu chāpyaham

Translation
Shri Krishna says: I am impartial to all living beings; there is no one hateful or dear to Me. But those who worship Me with devotion dwell in Me, and I am also in them.
Meaning & Commentary
In this profound verse, Lord Krishna reveals the nature of His divine impartiality, emphasizing that His love is not governed by worldly preferences or biases. While the Supreme Lord sustains the entire universe equally, He shares a unique, intimate relationship with those who surrender unto Him through the path of Bhakti. By focusing their consciousness on Shri Krishna, the devotee enters into a state of divine communion where the Lord becomes their inner refuge. This reciprocation is the essence of spiritual life, offering the seeker a direct pathway to moksha, where the boundaries between the soul and the Supreme dissolve into eternal, loving union.
