Meaning & Commentary
In this profound declaration, Shri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, highlights the accessibility of divine grace for those who dedicate their lives to Him. He defines the material world as 'anityam' (impermanent) and 'asukham' (joyless), urging the seeker to recognize the futility of seeking lasting fulfillment in worldly attachments. By commanding Arjuna to worship Him, Shri Krishna reveals that the path to liberation is not through cold renunciation, but through an intimate, loving surrender to the Divine. This path transcends caste and birth, promising that whoever turns their heart toward the Lord finds the ultimate refuge. Thus, Krishna invites every soul to elevate their consciousness and find eternal bliss in His devotional service.
