Meaning & Commentary
In this profound verse, Lord Krishna offers the ultimate essence of the path of devotion, bhakti-yoga. By instructing Arjuna to fix his mind and heart exclusively upon His divine form, Lord Krishna reveals that the soul's true nature is found in eternal communion with the Supreme. This is not merely an external ritual but an internal transformation where every thought and action becomes an offering to the Divine. When a devotee makes Shri Krishna the sole focus and the ultimate destination of their existence, the shackles of karma are broken. Thus, the soul attains liberation and enters into the eternal, loving service of the Supreme Lord.
