Chapter 9: Rāja Vidyā Yog – Yoga through the King of Sciences

यथाऽऽकाशस्थितो नित्यं वायुः सर्वत्रगो महान्। तथा सर्वाणि भूतानि मत्स्थानीत्युपधारय
Transliteration
yathākāśha-sthito nityaṁ vāyuḥ sarvatra-go mahān tathā sarvāṇi bhūtāni mat-sthānītyupadhāraya
Word Meanings
yathā—as; ākāśha-sthitaḥ—rests in the sky; nityam—always; vāyuḥ—the wind; sarvatra-gaḥ—blowing everywhere; mahān—mighty; tathā—likewise; sarvāṇi bhūtāni—all living beings; mat-sthāni—rest in me; iti—thus; upadhāraya—know
Translation
Just as the mighty wind, blowing everywhere, always rests in the vast ether, know that all created beings similarly rest in Me, Shri Krishna.
Meaning & Commentary
In this profound verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals His omnipresence as the eternal substratum of all existence. Just as the wind moves within the sky without altering its nature, all souls and material forms exist within the divine consciousness of Shri Krishna without affecting His transcendent perfection. This analogy humbles the human ego by showing that our entire reality is sustained and contained by the Lord. By realizing this truth, the seeker transcends the illusion of separation and finds peace in the eternal embrace of the Supreme. Ultimately, this wisdom leads the devotee to surrender, recognizing that there is no place where Shri Krishna is not.
