Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals that He is the essential reality behind all manifestations of greatness and spiritual potency. By identifying Himself with Bhrigu, the sacred Om, and the steadfast Himalayas, Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna that the seeker should perceive the Divine presence in every aspect of the world. The 'Japa-yajna' is emphasized as the highest form of sacrifice because it purifies the consciousness from within, leading to constant remembrance of the Supreme. Through this, Shri Krishna invites the soul to recognize that He is the silent power sustaining all existence. Ultimately, this awareness transforms the mundane world into a sacred space, guiding the devotee toward the path of liberation.
