Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Shri Krishna reveals His position as the Primal Source from whom all progenitors of the universe emanate. By stating that these exalted beings were born from His mind, Lord Krishna emphasizes that creation is not a material process but an expression of His divine will and consciousness. For the devotee, this confirms that every soul and every life form is ultimately a manifestation of the Supreme Lord’s creative potency. By recognizing Shri Krishna as the origin of all patriarchs, the seeker attains the highest knowledge, which dissolves the illusion of separation. Surrendering to Him, who is the creator of even the greatest sages, becomes the direct path to liberation and eternal union with the Divine.
