Meaning & Commentary

In this moment, the veil of the material world is lifted, and Arjuna is confronted with the overwhelming majesty of the Vishvarupa, the Universal Form of Shri Krishna. The trembling of Arjuna signifies the frailty of the human ego when standing before the infinite, terrifying, and awe-inspiring reality of the Supreme Lord. Shri Krishna reveals that all life, death, and time are contained within Him, compelling the seeker to move beyond mere intellectual understanding toward total surrender. This interaction serves as a template for all humanity: recognizing the Supreme Divine requires a state of profound humility and a heart trembling with devotion. True spiritual liberation begins when the individual soul acknowledges the absolute sovereignty of Lord Krishna, shedding pride to embrace His divine will.
