Meaning & Commentary
In this profound revelation, Lord Krishna declares Himself as the ultimate source of all light and consciousness in the cosmos. He instructs Arjuna that the physical radiance we perceive in the celestial bodies and the elements is merely a reflection of His divine effulgence. By shifting our perspective to recognize Lord Krishna in the brilliance of the sun, moon, and fire, a seeker begins to perceive the Divine presence in every aspect of the material world. This realization dissolves the illusion of separation, guiding the soul toward liberation by anchoring its focus on the Supreme Lord. Ultimately, Lord Krishna invites us to see beyond the external forms and acknowledge that all energy, knowledge, and life originate solely from Him.
