Meaning & Commentary

In this profound verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals Himself as the sustaining power behind all existence. He explains that His divine energy is not distant; rather, it is the very foundation of the earth, holding every living being in place. By manifesting as the cooling light of the moon, Shri Krishna provides the essential life-force that nourishes the flora of the world. For the seeker, this signifies that every atom of nature is imbued with the presence of the Supreme Lord. By recognizing Shri Krishna in the elements that sustain our lives, the devotee moves toward liberation, shedding the illusion of separation and finding union with the Divine.
