Meaning & Commentary

This verse presents a profound hierarchical map of human consciousness, shifting our focus from the gross to the subtle. It teaches that while the physical body is our vehicle, our true potential lies in transcending the reactive impulses of the senses and the flickering fluctuations of the mind. By utilizing the intellect to discern truth from illusion, we can anchor ourselves in the Self, which is the source of eternal peace and clarity. This path of inner mastery suggests that true liberation is not found in controlling the outer world, but in realizing the divinity that resides beyond our cognitive and emotional layers.
