Meaning & Commentary

This verse shifts the focus of devotion from rituals to the perception of oneness. It teaches that spiritual liberation is not found by withdrawing from the world, but by recognizing the Divine presence within every living creature. When one realizes that the same consciousness animates all, their actions become an expression of sacred service. Consequently, the yogi remains anchored in the Divine even while engaged in worldly duties, transforming every mundane activity into an act of worship. This profound shift liberates the seeker from the duality of 'self' and 'other,' leading to a state of constant, unwavering union with the Infinite.
