Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Lord Krishna explains that true liberation is not a mere intellectual pursuit but a result of surrendering to His supreme consciousness. By taking refuge in Krishna, the seeker transcends the cycle of aging and mortality, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Brahman, the individual self, and the mystery of karma. This insight shifts one's perspective from the temporary physical world to the eternal reality, enabling the soul to act without the bondage of ego. When one rests in the wisdom of Krishna, every action becomes an offering, leading to a state of spiritual wholeness and eternal peace.
