Meaning & Commentary
In this verse, Bhagwan Shri Krishna reveals the sublime nature of His transcendental personality to Arjuna, inviting every seeker to elevate their consciousness beyond the material realm. By describing Himself as 'anumin-tansam' (subtler than the atom) yet the 'Dhataram' (Sustainer of all), Lord Krishna highlights His omnipresence as the foundation of existence. He assures humanity that by constant remembrance (anusmarati) of His divine form, one can transcend the veil of ignorance that binds the soul to the cycle of birth and death. To meditate on Shri Krishna is to align one’s mind with the source of all light, enabling the devotee to transcend worldly darkness and achieve eternal liberation. This path of devotion is the ultimate way to realize the Supreme Truth and attain direct communion with Yogeshwar Krishna.
